The Savannah Quill hosted their first annual author convention with authors, guests, and vendors. A portion of the proceeds goes to their partner Live Oak Public Libraries to help benefit literacy.
They hosted Meet the Author panels, publishing panels, and paranormal panels. Fun event activities Savannah Potterfest Harry Potter Trivia & Costume contest, and Savannah Paranormal Mini-Con. Guests and attendees got to take their picture with the Coastal Empire chapter of the 501st Star Wars group, as well as with special guests.
Chazito’s food truck was a big hit with attendees, as well as Gaga’s Homemade Goodies, with made from scratch sweet treats.
Authors and guests donated autographed books, t shirts and guests passes to Wicked South Productions Lot 13 haunt for raffle prizes.
Kids of all ages dressed up for the Savannah Potterfest, and the four houses competed Harry Potter collectibles. Host Stella Price made the game exciting and fun as she asked the trivia questions. They also competed in the costume contest where they said who they dressed up as, and why.
The Savannah Paranormal Mini-Con hosted panels with special guests Patrick Burns, Marley Gibson, Kyl Cobb, David and Shannon Byers, and Jeff Lewis and the Guyton Paranormal Society with special MC host Will Aymerich,
